I always knew it was true, but now it's official.

My school, Thomad Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, is officially the best school in the country.

(Note: the video makes us look more nerdy than we actually are)

Don't you wish you were me, biatches!

Of course, we at TJ have never needed official recognition to be awesome. We're that kind of cool nerd.

But actually, although our school is in fact sixty-one different kinds of geeky, it's just really, really cool. I don't know how to describe it--It's the way we all get along, playing calculator games is a perfectly legit hobby, how we laugh at nerdy pick-up lines, how girls find guys with Rubix cubes sexy...Did I just say that?

True story, actually, by the way. Happened earlier this day.

Actual quote:

W: Wait, is he your boyfriend?
A: No, but I wish he was. Everytime I see him with his Rubix Cube I go insane!

To take a line from the facebook group, you know you go to TJ when the school doesn't have a working fire alarm, but does have an electron microscope, the head cheerleader got into Harvard, you walk into a classroom and Java is written all over the whiteboard, and it's not coffee.

An actual quote from tjbash.org;

Mr. McFaden: *walking through a chattering class, very quietly* Sex.
Class: *keeps talking, does not notice*
Mr. McFaden: *still very quietly* Extra credit.
Class: *perks up* Did you say extra credit? What?
Mr. McFaden: From a biological standpoint, that's just WRONG.

WE ARE NERDY AND PROUD. GO TJ.
